China An Independent Source of Echo Gear
You may think of China as a importer of ultrasound gear or where European & US companies manufacture their goods. That is beginning to change.
Mindray & SonoScape (not to be confused with SonoSite) are now selling their ultrasound gear around the world. This weekend it was reported that Mindray plans to list their company on NASDAQ.
As you read of Chinese President Hu Jintao’s visit to the USA this week remember that the world is indeed getting smaller.
